Movie To Feature English & American Wizards

Warner Bros. Entertainment U.K., Ireland and Spain president Josh Berger today revealed in an interview that the first ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ movie is to feature “U.S and British wizards”.

Berger on Wednesday also touted the planned Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, based on the J.K. Rowling book of the same name. The film is set to be released in Nov. 2016 and is expected to be followed by further movies. Fantastic Beasts is set in 1920s New York and features U.S. and British wizards, he told his audience, but didn’t discuss the status of the script.

This is most likely to mean that the first in the trilogy starts out in the U.K with Newt either fresh from Hogwarts or already working in the Ministry of Magic and getting offered the chance to write the Fantastic Beasts book.

From there, he would travel to America for the first leg of his tour, with the rest of the world to come in subsequent films.
