Pottermore today launched a new feature on their website – a Timeline of the Wizarding World.
This timeline is a list of birth and death years of all famous witches and wizards from medieval times right up to 1980 with the birth of Harry Potter; and so includes Newt Scamander in the year 1897:
According to this timeline, Newt is still alive in the year 2015, which would make him 118 years old as of now.
