Brand new footage from the upcoming Fantastic Beasts movie is to be premiered this Sunday, April 10th, at the MTV Movie Awards, presented by Eddie Redmayne:
Famed Hufflepuff Eddie Redmayne is heading to the 2016 MTV Movie Awards to debut a sneak peek at his anticipated new film Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, MTV News can exclusively reveal.
Fantastic Beasts will follow Newt (Redmayne), a magizoologist who searches for the world’s most magical creatures and stores them in his magical suitcase. Upon a visit to New York City in 1926, Newt accidentally lets some of these rare and endangered magical creatures escape for all No-Majs (a.k.a American Muggles) to see, which is very, very bad, especially because certain no-good No-Majes are already trying to persecute wizards and witches. Naturally, chaos ensues, and Newt finds himself at odds with the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA).
The award show will be broadcast at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 1am GMT.
