Presented by Eddie Redmayne at the MTV Movie Awards, he made his entrance by appearing from inside a suitcase, similar to Newt’s, before stating:
“…just had the most astounding time getting to leap back into the world of J.K Rowling’s imagination.
I am properly excited to show you tonight just a wee glimpse of what’s in store this November. So here is the world premiere of the new trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”
The script of the trailer is as follows:
Graves: You’re an interesting man, Mr Scamander, just like your suitcase. I think there’s much more to you than meets the eye.
Kicked out of Hogwarts for endangering human life with a beast, yet one of your teachers argues strongly against your expulsion. I wonder, what makes Albus Dumbledore so fond of you, Mr Scamander?
Customs Official: First trip to America?
Newt: Yes. [looks at suitcase] – must get that fixed
Customs Official: Anything edible in there?
Newt: Um, ah, no, no
Customs Official: Any livestock?
Newt: No
Customs Official: Welcome to New York
Graves: No human could do what this thing is capable of
