Warner Bros have just announced the release details for the DVD and BluRay of Fantastic Beasts: the Crimes of Grindelwald.
In the US, the film is set to be released first via digital download on February 15th, then on DVD, BluRay, 3D & 4K on March 12th.
In the UK, however, it won’t be available for digital download until March 9th, with the physical releases coming March 18th.
The good news is that the digital download will include an ‘Extended Cut’ of the film which includes some deleted scenes:
- Walk n Talk
- Newt’s Basement
- Ballroom Dance
- Murmuration
- Nagini and Credence in Alley
- Dumbledore and McGonagall
With these six extra scenes, the extended cut clocks in at 2 hours and 20 minutes – a full 7 minutes longer than the theatrical cut.
In addition to this, we now have details on the contents of the BluRay Special Features:

- Feature: Wizards on Screen, Fans in Real Life
- Feature: Distinctly Dumbledore
- Unlocking Scene Secrets: The Return to Hogwarts
- Unlocking Scene Secrets: Newt’s Menagerie
- Unlocking Scene Secrets: Credence, Nagini & the Circus Arcanus
- Unlocking Scene Secrets: Paris and Place Cachée
- Unlocking Scene Secrets: Ministere des Affaires Magiques
- Unlocking Scene Secrets: Grindelwald’s Escape & the Ring of Fire
- Deleted Scenes
