[July 22nd 2019] Backstage, a large online resource for actors and performers, has reported that Fantastic Beasts three has been green-lit to begin pre-production and casting.
This is all that is known at this stage but this post will be updated if and when there’s more.
[Update: September 13th 2019] Speaking at the Toronto International Film Festival, Eddie Redmayne spoke to an ET reporter on the current status of Fantastic Beasts 3:
Reporter: Before I let you go, do you have any Fantastic Beasts 3 updates for us?
Eddie: Well, we’re meant to start shooting at the beginning of next year. Um, the script is still being worked on
