The first official teaser poster for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore has been released! A larger version can be seen in our gallery:
With both a Phoenix and Hogwarts on display, this is a definite nod to the current Harry Potter 20th anniversary celebrations which will culminate in the airing of the ‘Back to Hogwarts’ reunion on New Year’s Day.
Interestingly, the phoenix in this poster is shown to be burning, which we know happens when it’s near the end of its life cycle, and also appears to be much brighter than the one shown in the trailer:
Could this mean that there are two different phoenixes? Or, perhaps we see it go from the healthy first image to the more sickly ‘burning day’ of the second?
